Brittney Smith, M.S. CCC-SLP TSSLD-BE
Owner | Speech-Language Pathologist
Hello! I'm Brittney Smith, a passionate Speech-Language pathologist dedicated to providing affirming and inclusive therapy services to individuals of all ages. I received my Masters in Communication Disorders at Mercy University in 2018 and my Bilingual Extension from Columbia Teachers College in 2021. I continue to be a lifelong learner in the field of speech pathology with a love for linguistic diversity and the variability in communication across cultures.
I have gained experience working in a variety of settings with both children and adults and currently maintain employment in a school district in Westchester, NY, working with students from Pre-K to 8th grade. After the school day, I provide therapy services and support children and their families in their home or community settings. At my private practice, I believe in embracing neurodiversity, understanding that each person's communication journey is unique and deserves personalized attention.
Neurodiversity is the idea that neurological differences such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and others are natural variations in the human experience. I firmly believe that these differences should be recognized and celebrated, not viewed as deficits. In my practice, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where every client feels understood, respected, and empowered.
Combining my clinical expertise and deep appreciation for neurodiversity, I tailor my therapy sessions to meet the specific needs and strengths of each individual. Whether you or your loved one are seeking support with speech articulation, language development, social communication skills, or other areas, I work collaboratively to set realistic goals and achieve meaningful progress.

If you're ready to embark on a positive and supportive journey towards improved communication skills, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to unlock your or your loved one's full potential.
